LIFE Crops for Better Soil promoted at Biofach 2017 Germany

As part of our project’s After LIFE dissemination efforts, Sven Kallen of Transfer Consultancy, together with Mariano Saz and Rosario Rivera of Transati and Montse Escutia of Vida Sana, promoted the layman’s report to several interested parties present at Biofach.

Biofach is the world’s largest organic food produce trade fair and is currently being held at Nürnberg.

The potential for organic farming in rainfed conditions remains high and Spain could take advantage of rising demand for chickpeas and certain cereal specialties. As always, a professional attitude is expected and several buyers expressed their interest to build long term relationships with Spanish farmers.
